issue1はissue2の実質10分の1しか流通していないため幻の1号と言われています。

【History of Beastie Boy"s Grand Royal Magazine】（抜粋）

Chris Johnsen (Grand Royal 1993 ～ 2000 年の販売、マーケティング、プロモーションの責任者) 氏によると、「第 1 号は 7,500 部のみ製造しましたが、すぐに売れました。待望の第 2 号では 50,000 部印刷し、最終的には数十部を印刷することになりました。」第 1 号では、わずか 7,500 部しか製造されず、約 1,000 部が配布され、およそ 6,500 部が小売店に直接販売されました。流通業者を通じて多くを新刊スタンドに出荷しましたが、その流通業者は私たちに一銭も支払わず、ほとんどのことを教えてくれました。 「雑誌は売れず、コストの問題で私たちに返却できず、その後彼が販売した新聞販売店によって破棄されました。実際に生き残ったのはおそらく 3 ～ 4,000 冊だけだというのが現実的です。」
