Dieter Rams, The Complete Works

ディーター・ラムス(Dieter Rams 1932年 - )ドイツ・ヴィースバーデン出身。同国を代表するインダストリアルデザイナーであり、ミュンヘン工科大学の名誉教授。代表作は、Braun社の製品デザインが挙げられる。1947年から1953年までに、ヴィースバーデン美術学校にて建築とインテリアを学ぶ(1948年は休学していた)。その後、ドイツ・フランクフルトを拠点に活動する建築家Otto Apelの元で働き、1955年にはBraun社に建築とインテリアデザイナーとして採用される。1961年にはチーフデザイナーに就任し、1995年までの約40年間、同社に務めた。ラムスのデザインは、世界で評価され、アップル社のデザイナージョナサン・アイブにも影響を与え、作品の多くはアメリカのニューヨーク近代美術館のコレクションに収蔵されている。
