Tym Guitars / RED MUD (MK3 Limited Edition)

オーストラリアのブランドで、ビッグマフ系のクローンで知られています。
ダイナソーJrのJ.Mascis公式ファズの「Fuzz Munchkin」が日本でも有名です。

RED MUDは、Sovtekの「Red Army Overdrive」のクローンモデルで、不定期で制作されています。
この個体は限定版で、オリジナルに使われているロシア製NOSトランジスタ（KT3102E）とNOSダイオード（KD522）が使われています。
私がこれまで使ってきたロシアンマフ系の中で最も好みの音で、最後まで残していました。

サウンドですが、私の知る限りでは初期Civil War(RAOと同じ基盤が使われているもの)が一番近いです。ローが適度に引き締まりつつ、ミッドもしっかり出ておりとてもバランスが良いサウンドです。
小さい筐体のマフ系はローエンドが削れてしまってるものが多いですが、このRed Mudはそれが全く感じられないのが素晴らしい。
ボリュームは10時くらいで十分な音量が稼げますし、さらに回せばしっかり音量が上がります。ビンテージ感を残しつつ使い勝手も良い理想的なロシアンマフだと思います。

Tymのペダルは、筐体が鋲で留められているため基盤を確認することができません。ご了承ください。

本体のみの出品です。
そこそこ使用感はありますが、目立つような大きな傷や汚れはありません。
